Historic Virginia Key Beach Park

"🌺 Started my day at the Heiva Festival at Miami Marine Stadium, then headed out on the nearby Basin spur trail (about 1.5 miles). Super easy to follow, single track, and surrounded by so many plants and trees you almost forget you’re right next to the beach. Beautiful water and skyline views the whole way. There’s bends along the way that blocks your view of oncoming walkers for a moment, so just stay aware. 🌊 From there, I continued on toward the beach near the volleyball courts. It was $8 per vehicle to enter the park. But well worth it. Crystal-clear water, calm vibes, and lots of shade. The beaches were a bit rocky, and not ghe smooth sand i am used to. Parking was easy with lots of open spaces. 🍴 there are a lot of tiki picnic tables, and food trucks everywhere, plenty of options to grab something good. Such a peaceful little escape right by the city ✨"

"Had an amazing time at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. The beach is beautiful, peaceful, and full of history. Everything felt clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing from the moment we arrived. Perfect place to spend the day with family or friends, enjoy the ocean breeze, and disconnect from the busy city life. The staff was friendly and the views were absolutely stunning. "Virginia Key is absolute gem that should not be missed when visiting Miami. Next time I hope I have my mtb so I can ride their trails. I did take the nature trail and saw beautiful native water birds frolicking on the mangroves. I would definitely recommend and return."
